LED wall

An LED wall gives a picture that holds up in full daylight. No projector humming in the room, no shadow when the speaker walks up to the screen, and accurate colour that lifts the quality of the whole conference. It suits bright venues, stages that should feel bigger and pictures that also need to look good in a livestream.

What's included

When you rent an LED wall from us, this is normally included:
– an LED wall sized to the venue
– stands or frame, mounted and aligned
– video processor and switching, so slides, video and camera can change without a black screen
– transport and installation
– a technician

If you would rather run it yourselves, you can also rent the wall without a technician, as dry hire.

What size do you need?

A rule of thumb: the people in the back row should be able to read normal slide text. It depends a lot on the size of the venue, but this is typical:
Board meeting or seminar, 20–40 people: a wall of around 3.5 × 2 metres is often enough.
Conference in a larger hall, 100–200 people: 5.5 × 3 metres, often larger.
Kickoff or gala, 300 people or more: a wider format, where the wall also becomes part of the stage design, is common.

Before we suggest dimensions, we look at ceiling height, where the audience sits and what will be shown.

Why 1.9 mm?

The number is the distance between the LEDs. The lower the number, the closer you can stand without seeing individual pixels. At 1.9 mm the picture looks sharp from just a couple of metres away. That is why the wall also works in smaller conference rooms, on stage close to the front row and in an exhibition booth where visitors stand right next to it.

LED wall or projector?

A projector is cheaper for a large picture in a dark room, but you lose quality, colour and impact compared with an LED wall. In a bright venue the picture fades, and the fan can be heard in quiet moments. An LED wall is bright and silent, has accurate colour and looks good on camera.

In booths and on stage

Price

The price mainly depends on the size of the wall, the number of days and how many technician hours are needed.
