Quote requests

When you send a quote request through the form, we receive the details you fill in: contact and company details, the event's dates and location, the products you chose and your message. We only use them to prepare and follow up your quote.

The request is stored in our database at Supabase (within the EU, in Ireland) and emailed to us through our email provider Websupport. If you give an email address, we send a confirmation there. If the request can't be sent from the website, your own email program opens instead with a pre-filled message.

We process the details to give you the quote you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep the request as long as it is needed for the quote and any resulting business, and then delete it. The website has no visitor accounts and no tracking.

What is kept locally in your browser (language preference and the quote cart) never leaves your device.

Email you send to us

Email you send to us is handled as ordinary business correspondence and is only used to answer and handle your inquiry. We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

What leaves your browser

These are the times data is sent from your browser:

• Quote request: sent to us when you press Send request (see Quote requests above).
• Typing tips in the quote form: suggestions are matched locally in your browser against a fixed list – what you type is not sent anywhere to produce them.
• Address suggestions: what you type in the address field is sent to OpenStreetMap (Nominatim).
• Map on the contact page: the map is shown as a picture from our own server. If you click it, Google Maps loads and your IP address becomes visible to Google, which may set cookies. The 'Navigate here' link only opens Google Maps once you click it.
• Visitor statistics: when you open a page, we store which page it is, the page you came from, device type, browser and country, to see how the website is used. To count unique visitors per day, your IP address and browser are used briefly; the IP address is never stored. The statistics are kept for 25 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us at info@konferensteknik.se. If you believe we are processing your data incorrectly, you may file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
